The plan you've laid out is thorough, and should provide some interesting data. The science TAKS is a major concern even on my campus. The 5th graders take the science TAKS, but every other grade is held accountable for science. If your study finds positive results, I'm sure there are many people who would be interested in exploring this program closer.
